ON DISPLAY GLOBAL
An annual worldwide event to commemorate International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 2nd. We have over 20 partnering sites for 2016 that will reconstruct ON DISPLAY under Heidi Latsky's supervision. In preparation for this global undertaking we created a plethora of guides to galvanize the partners and make the work accessible to non-artists. Through this project we are expanding who can participate in art and what inclusion looks like on a global scale.
Two international and three national sites have already done their first installation. All sites will do one installation prior to December second in order to film it and send to us. HLD will create a master film featuring all the installations to be broadcast on monitors throughout the United Nations and at all the sites on December 2. HLD will host ON DISPLAY at NYU Tisch and more sites to be determined on December 3. Participating cities to date include Zagreb, Albuquerque, Austin, Hobart, Miami, Denver, Montreal, Madison, Milwaukee, Geneva, Brighton, London, Buenos Aires, Boston, Monteroni, Los Angeles, Toronto, Palencia, and San Francisco.

A Dynamic Portfolio of Works
ON DISPLAY is a deconstructed art exhibit/fashion show and commentary on the body as spectacle and society's obsession with body image. It turns a cast of diverse and extreme bodies into a sculpture court where the performers are the sculptures. ON DISPLAY began as a simple human sculpture court and is now a movement, a growing portfolio of works that explore and demonstrate inclusion through art.
The ON DISPLAY portfolio includes:
